On Friday, the Telangana high court directed the authorities of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences and other private medical colleges that students who were reallocated to their colleges should not be pushed to pay their fees.

A bench of Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili and Justice Pulla Karthik asked the authorities and private colleges not to pressurize the students who were sent to other private medical colleges as part of the readjustment of students from the colleges that lost eligibility to offer the courses.

In May, the National Medical Commission canceled the MBBS and post-graduate admissions made for 2021-22 in three private medical colleges, namely TRR, Mahavir, and MNR. This decision was taken after a sudden inspection revealed the huge deficiencies in infrastructure.
